Development Associate

Full time

Pay range: $24.00 + benefits

DAIS is seeking a Development Associate to join our team. The Development Associate plays a key role in managing and ensuring the integrity of DAIS’ donor database, including completing data analysis and reporting; driving the successful execution of gift processing, acknowledgments, and stewardship tasks; and providing administrative support to our development team. Day-to-day tasks include processing of all gifts received by mail and online, including checks, credit and debit cards, ACH, stock transfer, and in-kind gifts, processing recurring gifts for sustaining donors, managing recording of one-time and multi-year pledges from individuals and organizations, and preparing and sending donor acknowledgements, pledge reminders, and invoices. Additionally, this position also provides support for development activities, including responding to donor questions, scheduling team meetings and other internal events, and supporting special events.

Support, empower and advocate for victims of domestic violence.  We are seeking a passionate and committed Legal Advocate to join our dedicated team that provides support, information and advocacy to victims of domestic violence as they navigate the legal systems in Dane County. The Legal Advocate provides direct services to victims, including court accompaniment, and assistance with legal referrals, restraining orders, civil, criminal, and other court matters. Operations Manager

Full time, exempt

Pay range: $65,000 to $70,000/year based on experience

The Operations Manager is intrinsically motivated to create long-term systems and processes, ensure continuous improvements, and proactively address and plan for current and future needs as it relates to information technology systems (IT), building and facilities management, and security management. The Operations Manager provides oversite, coordination, and support for all building and technology related needs and activities as well as special projects, ensuring effective results when working with contractors, vendors, and volunteers. The Operations Manager brings forward recommendations on facility and technological needs while ensuring current needs are met and maintained in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The Operations Manager collaborates with others across the organization to identify and address facility issues and advance compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Shelter Coordinator

Full time, exempt

Pay range: $56,000 to $58,000 based on experience

The Shelter Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that our day-to-day residential shelter operations run smoothly and that our residents have a safe, dignified and empowered experience during their stays. The Shelter Coordinator ensures shift coverage needs are met, hires staff and provides extensive and consistent onboarding, orientation, training, staff supervision and support. The Shelter Coordinator must remain actively and professionally engaged with staff and volunteers to ensure success, must maintain a physical presence in our shelter while working, and must perform direct service work with clients as needed. In addition, this position participates in an on-call rotation to support staff. Shelter Advocate

Variable Part Time:  Primarily weekend shifts (including overnights) with weekday and holiday coverage as needed

Pay range: $21.42 per hour + $2.50 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 11pm-7am

DAIS Shelter Advocates work to ensure that victims of intimate partner violence and their children staying in our emergency shelter have a safe, dignified, and empowered experience as they work to address the impact of intimate partner violence in their lives.
