Wish List - Most Needed Items
Holiday Gift Wish List!
Please see the
Holiday Gift Wish
List for items that we'd especially like to have donated during
this holiday season.
You can make a
difference in the life of someone affected by domestic abuse. To
donate goods to Domestic Abuse Intervention Services programs and
our emergency shelter, please check the list below for items the
shelter is in need of.
Because many items are used as gifts, DAIS is currently only
accepting new items.
If you have used items you would like to donate please consider
donating them to Community Action Coalition’s Free Clothing
Center
(246-4730) or St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores
(278-2920). Both places provide items to our consumers free of
charge.
Monetary
Donations
Cash enables us to meet a variety of emergency needs. Please send
monetary donations to DAIS, P.O. Box 1761, Madison, WI

Cell Phones
DAIS can also accept used cell phones.
Phones are collected and turned into Shelter Alliance (shelteralliance.org)
which recycles or properly disposes of unusable phones and gives
DAIS a return on each phone. Donations
of used phones in 2004 brought in over $8,000 to DAIS for operating
support.
