Supporting DAIS:
Simple Things

You may be surprised at all of the simple things you can do to help support survivors of domestic abuse.

You can multiply the difference you make by letting other people know: email a link to this page to your friends, family, and co-workers.

Shelter Items
Please see our Wish List for other ideas. Please call the DAIS Office Manager at 251-1237 during office hours to arrange a drop-off time at our administrative office.

Food Items
While doing your grocery shopping, it's easy to pick up some of the most needed shelter food items from the Shelter Grocery List.

Used Cell Phones
DAIS collects unused cell phones. Please drop them off at one of three Ancora Coffee Roaster stores in Madison (Monroe St., University Drive, or King St). Or call 608/223-1378x120 to arrange a pick up of a large collection.

School Supplies
The Kids' Program uses new back-to-school items throughout the year since children arrive in shelter at various points in the school year. Please See the Wish List for specific needs.

Thank you for helping us provide for families in crisis. If you have items you'd like to donate, please call the Office Manager at 251-1237 to arrange for a drop-off appointment.
